Denis is 12 years old. After extensive medical tests, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma—news that completely changed his family’s life. Denis is currently undergoing a difficult course of treatment and preparing for a critical stage: a bone marrow transplant. Despite all the difficulties, he hasn’t lost his faith or his strength of spirit and continues to dream sincerely about the future. At the “Dacha” Family Home, Denis lives with his mom. It is here, surrounded by support, warmth, and care, that he manages to take his mind off the daily grind of the hospital, at least for a little while. Here he engages in creative pursuits, sings, makes new friends, and gradually discovers even more courage and inspiration within himself. For Denis, music is not just a hobby, but a true source of strength. Through songs, he can express his feelings, experiences, and hopes. He loves to sing, dreams of the big stage, and believes that one day he will be able to perform in front of a large audience. His biggest dream today is to recover. To return to a normal childhood, to live without hospitals and treatments, and simply to enjoy every day. Denis also really dreams of flying to another country and performing there on a big stage—with his own song, in front of people who will listen to his story through music. It is particularly symbolic that one of his dreams has already come true right here at “Dacha.” Denis performed on stage with an original song he wrote together with his sister. It was a very important and exciting moment—a true victory that gave him even more confidence in himself and his abilities. His story is one of talent, light, and great inner strength. It’s the story of a boy who, even during the most difficult period of his life, never stops singing, dreaming, and believing that a big stage, new countries, and—most importantly—a healthy, happy life await him.
